SHEN SB88 WITH REMOVABLE NECK

Laminated 3/4 bass with a removable neck option installed by FMI in California. This bass features an upgraded bridge by Michael Hartery and a setup by Gian Pangaro.

A minor accident removed one of the volute turns (ears) of the scroll on the E string side. This has been smoothed and touched up to blend in.

GERMAN SMALL 3/4 CARVED BASS

A smaller bodied bass, probably of German origin. While it's lived a hard life, this bass is now back in action with a great, punchy sound and fresh setup.

We recently completed a set of top-off repairs and reviewed all the prior repairs performed over the years by several Northeast shops.

GERMAN FIVE STRING FLATBACK

A gorgeous 5 string German flatback bass of ample size and playable string length. The honey-amber varnish and excellent flamed maple back and sides make it an eye catcher.

This bass underwent extensive restoration work in Robbie McIntosh's shop in 2005, which included shortening the neck (via scarf joint) to reduce the string length to 41.75"
